Chimney Cleaning
The Chimney’s flue liner is cleaned with a poly or metal brush from the top down. There are some instances where we clean the flue liner from the bottom up.The chimney sweep, runs the brush down through the chimney stack to scrape off any build up in the flue & removes the debris from the smoke shelf & firebox.
Firebox Repair
The firebox is the part of the fireplace where the actual fire burns. Masonry fireplaces that are made of brick or stone, usually have a brick firebox. If you have a prefab firebox, your fireplace usually has a metal pipe.
Flue Tile Repair
During our 18-point, level one inspection, if the technician notices any cracks in your flue tiles or if your flue tiles have missing mortar between the joints, the technician will note this in the observation/notes section of the inspection report along with pictures & cost to repair. Flue repairs are performed using high heat flue tile mortar.
Crown Repair
The chimney crown is the protective top of the masonry chimney. Crowns are usually made of poured solid concrete; with time, crowns get cracked and need to be repaired. We use products that offer warranties, such "Chimney Saver Crown Coat," that forms a flexible layer on the top of the existing crown that covers all cracks.
Chimney Repair
We repair leaks on Brick and Stone chimneys, we also repair Chase Covers, as well as fabricate & install chase covers.
